In a momentous stride towards enhancing educational opportunities for Bhutanese children, iBEST Institute unveils its groundbreaking online learning platform, “Educare Skill,” today, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 44th Birth Anniversary.
This pioneering platform introduces a wealth of educational resources, featuring 180 read-aloud animated stories, nursery rhymes, and interactive gamified learning modules, all meticulously crafted in Dzongkha and English. With captivating 2D and 3D graphics, Educare Skill promises an immersive learning experience for children and enthusiasts of all ages.
Tharchen, the CEO of Educare, underscores the platform’s commitment to delivering high-quality Bhutanese content tailored to the needs of young learners. “It serves as a supplementary tool for school learning, offering an enjoyable and engaging approach. We believe such a platform will simplify learning and make it more appealing for children,” Tharchen explains.
One of the highlights of Educare Skill is its diverse range of animated series, each designed to instill valuable lessons while entertaining young minds. “Dr. Carrot” promotes healthy eating habits, “Tales of Four Friends” imparts timeless life lessons, and the “Adventures of the Monkey King” adapts classic tales for a new generation of viewers.
Accompanying these series are 24 animated nursery rhyme episodes featuring beloved characters Nono and Daza, embarking on whimsical adventures that captivate and educate simultaneously.
For interactive learning, “CHEY CHEY,” a gamified segment, offers engaging exercises to help children grasp foundational concepts such as alphabets, colors, and shapes, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
What sets Educare Skill apart is its collaborative development process, involving approximately 100 Bhutanese professionals and youths. With insights from educators and students, the platform seamlessly integrates fun and educational content to cater to diverse learning styles.
Following its launch, interested individuals can access select videos on the platform. Full subscription services will be available in March, offering flexible membership plans catering to various preferences and budgets. From the basic plan at Nu 299 to the premium plan at Nu 399, subscribers can choose between monthly, half-yearly, and yearly options.
Accessible through the Play Store, App Store, and the Educare website, the platform ensures convenient access to quality educational content for all. As Bhutan continues its journey towards educational excellence, Educare Skill emerges as a beacon of innovation, promising to enrich the minds of young learners and foster a brighter future for generations to come.
