Soon after the official announcement was made on His Majesty The King’s Facebook page, social media platforms were inundated with expressions of happiness, prayers, and congratulatory messages for Their Majesties.
Prime Minister Dr. Lotay Tshering remarked, “Blessings come in various forms. Today’s news was one such blessing. The nation feels enriched and spiritually uplifted by this news. To celebrate, I lit a butter lamp and offered my prayers at home.”
Lyonchhen emphasized the significance of Royal births during their tenure, stating that such blessings in the Royal family symbolize hope and optimism for the nation. “We are not only witnessing His Majesty’s progressive actions and words but also the birth of a future generation that will secure the country for generations to come. The birth of the Royal child today represents the security and prosperity of future Bhutanese generations,” Lyonchhen stated.
Chief Justice Chogyal Dago Rigdzin extended heartfelt Tashi Delek to Their Majesties, emphasizing that this precious autumn gift symbolizes continuity, blessings of peace, and prosperity in the land of Drukyul. Deki Pema, Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission, highlighted that this joyous news exemplifies the collective merit and good fortune of the Bhutanese people. Karma Hamu Dorjee, Chairperson of the Royal Civil Service Commission, joined the nation in celebrating this wonderful news, offering sincere Tashi Delek to Their Majesties.
