Dorji Lopen presides over Gasa Moenlam Chhenmo

The Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body is presiding over a five-day Moenlam Chhenmo in the Gasa District. The sixth annual Moenlam Chhenmo began today.

Around 200 monks from the Gasa Rabdey are performing the prayer ceremony, which is being attended by over 700 devotees.

The Moenlam Chhenmo will conclude on Friday with Tshe-wang. This prayer ceremony is being conducted for world peace.
