His Holiness the Je Khenpo has concluded an almost month-long spiritual tour across the country, marking the end of an extensive journey devoted to religious teachings, blessings, and the consecration of sacred sites.
The tour came to a close today with His Holiness’s visit to Pedkar Choeling Dratshang in Nganglam, Pema Gatshel, before he returned to Namdroling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, His Holiness visited the Mangdechhu Hydropower Plant, where he presided over special prayers and bestowed blessings for the safe, smooth, and uninterrupted operation of the facility. On the same day, he travelled to Nabji Korphu in Trongsa, a revered site associated with Guru Rinpoche, underscoring the spiritual significance of the region.
The following day, His Holiness consecrated the Nabji Lhakhang and conferred the Kawang empowerment, drawing devotees from nearby communities. Later that afternoon, he continued his journey to Panbang Dungkhag in Zhemgang.
More than a thousand devotees gathered in Panbang to receive the Tshepamey Kawang bestowed by His Holiness. After the empowerment ceremony, he travelled onward to Nganglam in the evening.
Throughout the nearly month-long spiritual tour, His Holiness visited numerous locations across the country, where he bestowed various empowerments, consecrated lhakhangs and dzongs, and presided over important religious events, including the Chhukha Moenlam Chenmo. The tour was marked by large public participation and reflected the continued importance of spiritual guidance and religious traditions in the lives of communities nationwide.
