About 22 women entrepreneurs and their employees in Phuentsholing have received hands-on training in artificial intelligence and digital tools aimed at helping them strengthen and grow their businesses.
The three-day capacity-building workshop, held recently at the College of Science and Technology, introduced participants to ways emerging technologies can be incorporated into their day-to-day business operations.
The programme focused on equipping women-led businesses with practical digital skills and familiarising participants with AI-based tools that can help improve efficiency, productivity and business management.
The training comes as digital technologies, particularly AI, increasingly reshape how businesses operate, communicate with customers and compete in the marketplace. By building digital capabilities among women entrepreneurs and their employees, the initiative sought to help local businesses adapt to these changes and make better use of technology in their operations.
The workshop also provided participants with an opportunity to explore how digital tools can support their businesses while developing the skills needed to navigate an increasingly technology-driven business environment.
