His Majesty The King Strengthens Diplomatic and Economic Ties During Visits to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Last week, His Majesty The King embarked on a significant diplomatic tour, visiting Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to reinforce bilateral relations and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in trade and investments.

In Riyadh, His Majesty graced the Future Investment Initiative Conference, engaging with global business and political leaders. This prestigious event served as a platform for discussing strategic investments and fostering international partnerships aimed at future economic growth.

During his stay in Saudi Arabia, His Majesty met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. The discussions focused on deepening economic collaboration and expanding trade opportunities between Bhutan and Saudi Arabia, especially following the recent establishment of diplomatic ties between the two nations. In Kuwait, His Majesty was warmly received by the Emir, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Additionally, he held meetings with the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
