Project DANTAK Holds Medical Camp at Sherubtse College

Project DANTAK conducted a medical camp at Sherubtse College on September 8, offering students and members of the college community specialised guidance on sports injuries, physical fitness and safe exercise practices.

The health initiative featured Lt Col (Dr.) Jayant Rastogi, Sports Medicine Specialist and DADMS, Project DANTAK, who interacted with participants and provided medical consultations on a range of fitness and sports-related concerns.

A key focus of the camp was the prevention and management of injuries associated with sports and physical activity. Participants were also advised on adopting appropriate exercise techniques and fitness practices to reduce the risk of injury while maintaining an active lifestyle.

The programme provided the college community with access to specialist medical advice while highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare, particularly for individuals engaged in regular sports and physical activities.

Through the initiative, Project DANTAK sought to encourage greater awareness about physical well-being, injury prevention and responsible fitness practices among students and other members of the Sherubtse College community.
