Bhutan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that struck the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India on April 22, marking one of the deadliest assaults on tourists in India in recent years. The attack occurred when five armed militants entered the Baisaran Valley, a popular tourist destination, and opened fire on visitors. Survivors recounted harrowing scenes as the assailants targeted male tourists, reportedly asking for names and religions before shooting. The Resistance Front, a proxy group linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the massacre, which has sent shockwaves across the region.
